Hot Potato

Played some hoops with Joeja today and who should show up but the frontman of Boise's own Built to Spill, Doug Martsch. Not that he should quit his day job, but Martsch is pretty good and is deadly from three-point range. The highlight of the game? Martsch drove to the hoop for a lay-up and I got all 5 feet 4 inches of me as high as I could (at least an inch and a half off the ground) and blocked the shit out of him (here's hoping the shame of getting packed by the shortest man on the court doesn't stop him from playing yet another live cover of Cortez the Killer).
